Martie Healy is the founder of ESS and a member in good standing of USEF, USDF, NCDCTA and FHTA. She was the owner/manager/organizer of Basingstoke Farms. Martie and husband, Bill, ran USEF/USEA events (BN - A/I), FHTA (Florida Horse Trials Association) Events, Dressage Shows and Combined Driving Events for 12 years. She earned her USEF Eventing Course Designer's license and designed and built the courses at Basingstoke Farms and other events in the US. She has over 20 years experience in organizing, managing, secretarying and scheduling events, dressage shows, clinics and other equestrian activities - both large and small. Martie competed in Hunter/Jumpers, Eventing and Dressage and fox-hunted for many years before turning towards the administrative side of equestrian sports. Martie is the former USEA Area III Newsletter Editor and the USEA Area III Points Chair. She was the original secretary of the USEA Organizer's Committee. Martie created the Orgs_Only, AreaIIIOrgs and DressageManagement email lists. She is an accomplished website designer, operating her own website design business, Basingstoke Web Designs. Basingstoke Web Designs has been producing clean, effective, well-designed websites for over 15 years. Along with fellow equestrians, Carol Ogden and Lori Rice, Martie founded FHTA (Florida Horse Trials Association), a 501(c)3 corporation specializing in recognizing equestrian achievements and fostering equestrian education in Florida.
Martie took over show management of the NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage Show in 2008 (previous name - Mainline Dressage). The NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage Show is the site of the NCDCTA Dressage Championships and is proving to be extremely popular. In 2010, the NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage Show and NCDCTA hosted the 2010 Great American/USDF Region 1 Dressage Championships and enjoyed a hugely successful Championships. NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage will again host the Great American/USDF Region 1 Dressage Championships in 2012.
The dressage show management system by ESS has grown into a total package. From the online entry system to the fully networked (wireless or wired - secure network) show office, scoring and announcing to a total scoring package to automatic scoring posted on the internet every 240 seconds during all ESS shows, to the extremely popular score texting service - ESS dressage show office management does it all - and is always improving the service.
Martie has created the first Online Entry System for dressage shows. The system is based on an underlying FMP database and is written in html and php code. The Online Entry System provides a fast and efficient convenience for dressage show participants and has been enthusiastically well-received by competitors and show managers.

NCDCTA (North Carolina Dressage and Combined Training Association) uses one of Martie's online databases for convenient classified ad submittal by their membership and for membership and horse registration applications and renewals.

The Gainesville Ocala Women's Tennis League - www.gowtl.com uses one of Martie's online datbases for member registration, player histories, team management, score recording and standings.
